Starting their performing career as backup vocalists for Blondie from 1974 to 1975, they formed their own punk band, The Sic Fucks. They opened and operated the original Manic Panic boutique in the East Village from 1977 until its closure in 1999. Both sisters continue to play music as members of supergroup Blue Coupe alongside original members of Blue Oyster Cult and original Alice Cooper bassist Dennis Dunaway
