Peter Nagy (1959–2026), co-founder of Gallery Nature Morte, was going to write an essay for the show.

We’d like to thank all the people who’ve advised, and loaned works for a community-sourced exhibition. Small pieces are often exchanged amongst friends, and this show includes cherished works from people’s homes.

The title of the show comes from a song by Sandra Seymour, Same Way, from the 80s all-girl band Bite Like A Kitty. Like the works of these artists, it modeled the scenarios of our current media engulfment.
